Come and Try SWIFT Club

A relaxed, welcoming ride designed for women of all ages and abilities.

Join SWIFT (Social Women’s Intercultural Friendship Tricycling Club) for a social ride along the scenic Lake Illawarra foreshore, followed by morning tea and the opportunity to connect with other women in a friendly, supportive environment.

This event runs from 10am to 11am on Saturday 5th September 2026. Meet at Kully Bay AFL grounds on Northcliffe Drive, Warrawong.

Whether you’re completely new to cycling, returning after years away from the bike or simply looking for a gentle, social way to stay active, this event is all about making cycling feel accessible, comfortable and fun.

SWIFT is a unique community cycling club that encourages women from all backgrounds – particularly older women, seniors and those who may not feel comfortable joining traditional cycling clubs – to experience the enjoyment, health benefits and social connection that cycling can offer.

To help make riding more accessible, SWIFT provides both bicycles and tricycles, giving participants the option to ride in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them. Tricycles are a great option for women who may not feel confident on two wheels, or who simply prefer the added comfort and stability.

This is a low-pressure, non-competitive event where participants can ride at their own pace, meet new people and enjoy the outdoors in a welcoming community setting.
