All bikes and riders are welcome for the Ride Wollongong Community Ride around the lighthouse is a short and delightful cycling loop that offers both locals and visitors a chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. With a distance of approximately 28.8 kilometers, it provides an enjoyable ride with stunning ocean views and a glimpse of the iconic Wollongong Lighthouse.
The ride starts at Marine Drive as the path winds its way toward the lighthouse, allowing riders to catch a glimpse of this historic landmark.
Cyclists on the community ride can take their time, soak in the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy the fresh coastal air. The loop is often well-maintained, providing a smooth and enjoyable riding surface.
The Ride Wollongong Community Ride around the lighthouse is not only a chance to engage in physical activity but also an opportunity to connect with the local community.
Secure baggage storage will be available on the day.

Please note: The Community ride course maximum distance is 28.8km.
There will be designated turn points for distances of
1.5km (=3km), 4km (=8km), 8.5km (=17km), 11.5km (=23km) noted on the map. Full turn distance is 14.4km (=28.8km)
