Community Rides with IBUG
Start your day on the bike and roll into the festival.
IBUG invites riders to take part in a series of guided community rides, with five different options designed to suit a range of abilities, interests and confidence levels. Each ride starts from a different location across Wollongong and finishes at the central festival site in time for the Family Fun Day at Lang Park.
Along the way, riders will stop at key local spots, including bike-friendly cafés and scenic picnic areas, with live music, circus acts and street theatre adding to the atmosphere.
There are dedicated rides for women on bikes, cargo bike riders, young people and less confident cyclists – making it easy for everyone to get involved and ride at their own pace.
Whether you’re after a relaxed cruise or a more active start to your day, it’s a fun, social way to explore Wollongong and arrive at the festival together.
Registrations will be available via the IBUG website.
