Ride the route that put Wollongong on the world stage.
The Blue Line Community Ride is a guided, non-competitive social ride tracing the iconic coastal course from the 2022 UCI Road World Championships – following the now-famous blue line from Helensburgh to Wollongong.
Designed for intermediate riders and open to the public, this is your chance to experience one of Australia’s most scenic cycling routes in a safe, supported and social environment.
What to Expect
Roll out from Helensburgh and follow the spectacular coastline south, taking in ocean views, cliff-hugging roads and unforgettable landmarks along the way – including the Sea Cliff Bridge.
Along the route, riders will pass official legacy plaques that mark key moments from the 2022 Championships, offering a unique opportunity to connect with Wollongong’s global cycling story.
This is not a race – it’s a relaxed, guided ride designed to be enjoyed at a comfortable pace with fellow riders.
